Join us Sundays for Worship at 10:30 am

New to Concord?

Welcome!

We would love to have you worship with us this Sunday morning, 10:30 a.m., at our Tiger Point campus at 4191 Gulf Breeze Parkway between Navarre and Gulf Breeze, Florida.

Jesus is at the center of all that we are and all that we do. He is at the center because he is that good, and we need him that much. He transforms disaster into abundance, joy, and laughter; he strengthens, deepens, and treasures relationships.

We know that a church is not simply a Sunday morning experience, but a community of people who follow Jesus together; and so we invite you to join us in following Jesus.

Our Purpose, Mission, & Vision

To live a Gospel-Centered Life

Our Purpose is to Glorify God.

Our purpose is to live to the glory of Jesus. The good news of the Gospel is the only means by which my life brings God glory. The Redemptive work of Jesus is to the glory of God alone.

Our Mission is to be Gospel Centered.

We are a “gospel-centered” church. This is our first and primary mission principle. The gospel is not just the minimum required doctrine necessary to enter God’s kingdom, but the way we make all progress in the kingdom. We are not justified by the gospel and then sanctified by obedience. The gospel is the way we grow and are renewed. Every program and activity in our church will be evaluated in light of whether it flows out of the gospel, points people toward the gospel, and helps people grow in both their understanding and application of the gospel.

Our Vision is to be Kingdom Focused.

A Kingdom Focus is centered on Christ. Our vision is to be a Christ-centered church, meaning simply that we will live, teach, and follow in the way of Jesus Christ. At the center of it all is a person. Jesus. Our teaching and our mission stem from who Jesus was and what he did. This culminates in what we call the Gospel: the riches of the Grace of God available because of the sacrificial death of Jesus in the place of sinners. We believe that change or transformation of any lasting kind – in a person, a family, or a city – cannot happen apart from the truth of the Gospel of grace.

A Kingdom Focus seeks the shalom City. Our vision is to fulfill the call of Jeremiah 29 to "...seek the peace of the city." The peace, or "shalom," of the city is vision of renewal and redemption that only happens when empowered by Gospel transformation.

A Kingdom Focus is marked by athenticity. Our vision is to be a biblically functioning community that has all the marks of a real church. In a culture where the word "authentic" is over-used and under-experienced, we think the meaning of "church" needs to be rediscovered. The word simply means those called together. Church is not a building or a service but a community. A community measured and shaped by authenticity. Community like this takes determined humility and confession, listening more than talking, and mirroring the ring of selfless love that exists between the Father, his Son, and the Holy Spirit.
